How it works

It’s a simple game. There’s exactly one link on this website, and anyone can buy it.

Buying the link

Pick a title and the web address you want people to visit. Once your payment goes through, your title becomes the link on the homepage straight away, and it stays there until someone else buys it. That could be months, or it could be minutes.

What it costs

Every purchase costs a bit more than the one before:

• The first 20 purchases go up by US$5 each: the very first costs $5, the next $10, then $15, and so on up to $100.
• After that, each purchase is US$1 more than the last: $101, then $102, then $103…

The price is in US dollars, but you pay in rand. We show you the exact rand amount before you pay, and it’s locked in while you check out.

One buyer at a time

When you start checking out, the link is held for you for 10 minutes so nobody can buy it from under you. Everyone else sees a countdown until you’re done.

Your place in history

Every purchase is kept in the history: what it cost, how long it was held and how many clicks it got. The first buyers and the longest holders earn trophies and rosettes on the leaderboards.

The rules

No illegal content, malware or phishing, adult content, hate, scams or pretending to be someone else. If your link breaks these rules we remove it, the previous holder gets the link back, and there’s no refund.
